Dr.Oliver was born and raised in Eatonton, GA. He attended Clayton State University where he majored in Biology then took it a little further to minor in Chemistry. Originally, he wanted to pursue an exciting career as a OBGYN, but that soon changed after spending time with his older sister, Dr. Alisa Nelson, whom had been practicing dentistry in her very owned and operated dental office in Grayson, GA ( Comfort Dental Studio Inc). From there, Dr.Oliver attended the illustrious Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry where he obtained his Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS). There he met his lovely wife and many more life long friends. After dental school, he pursued his residency training at the Ohio State University. There he learned the art of IV sedation, which brings him to the next chapter in his life. Dr.Oliver moved back home to Georgia to the city of Atlanta to provide dental care to patients with special needs at the DDD Foundation (Dentistry for Developmentally Disable) .In this setting, Dr.Oliver would sedate and treat patients with a wide array of disabilities. Operating as the Assistant Clinical Director, his passion for cosmetics and in depth dentistry led him down a path of transition eager to become a “beast in the game.” After years of pursuit to be the best, Dr.Oliver has taken extensive continuing education hours leading to consider himself as one of the best in cosmetics, root canals, extraction, and making people look and feel good about their smiles and oral health. Dr.Oliver prides himself in his compassionate approach, soft touch, and comforting way he communicates with his patients. Dr.Oliver decided to establish MVS in downtown Eatonton, Ga so that he could return to his hometown to not only service, but educate the public of the oral health. He believes that it is one thing to provide treatment, but more importantly inform the citizens of ways to improve overall oral health minimizing necessary treatment.
